Comedy Dublin is an established weekly comedy troupe with an ever-evolving line-up, who will be celebrating their 4th birthday in May 2008. The troupe continues to provide a million laughs each week with improv comedy every Sunday and Tuesday.
Regular comedians Margo Carr, Michael Connolly, Conal Carr, Gaby O’Reilly, Ben Musgrave, Mark Hanratty Bethanne Linstra, Megan Day, Brian Greene, Kate NiCheallaigh and guests round out two evenings of entertainment a week that you can't beat with a stick. They also organize two performances a month exclusively for established and emerging stand-up comedians.
Due to popular demand, Comedy Dublin have taken their shows on the road this past few years, with outstanding and hilarious performances in the Sugar Club on Leeson St. along with American comedy legends Surf n Turf. They performed at the 2007 Cork Comedy Festival in July. Previous tours have included Kildare at the nightclub, Tigerlily, Dundalk Maytime Festival in the Town Hall Theatre (garnering awards for three fabulous shows alongside the wonderful Nat Turner Revue), and at the Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge.
They have performed in the Bulmer's International Comedy Festival for the last 3 years, where more than 600 people filled the seats and laughed exactly every 30 seconds according to the Comedy Dublin’s licensed laughologists.

Who is Silly Connolly? ;
Silly Connolly is a wacked out comedian and musician based in Ireland. He believes he is the long lost lovechild of Billy Connolly.
Fans of Billy Connolly adore Silly's mapcap antics ,gags and below the belt comedy songs. Since making his first appearance on stage in 2003 Silly's popularity continues to grow.
He guests on radio stations all over Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland regularly and always manages to cause plenty of mayhem!
He even appeared on the front page of the Daily ireland newspaper after being banned from Donegal radio simply because of his association to Billy Connolly!!!
He is the first man in history to do an All Ireland Pub Crawl and survive! During the event he guested on almost every radio station in Ireland and had his story followed from start to finish by the national press.
He writes his own comedy songs and performs all over the British Isles.
His act is based upon the style of Classic Billy Connolly and involves a mix of jokes,anecdotes, classic Connolly tunes and original musical compositions.
He has just released his debut comedy and music album entitled, "Silly Connolly - ON AIR" ;a 21 track comedy and music extravaganza.
